In Conversation With: The Rise Of East African Club Music | Boiler Room x Ballantine's True Music Studios: Nairobi

With the success of Gengetone, New Nairobi, Shrap and drill, Kenya has been a hotbed for new music scenes over the last few years, with the East African music scene growing and significantly shifting alongside it.

As part of Boiler Room x Ballantine's True Music Studios: Nairobi, "In Conversation With" will focus on the rise of East African club music, and how community-run spaces and collaboration can nurture Kenyan alternative music, hosted by Tela Wangeci.

There is limited seating for guests at the venue.
The event is hosted on the rooftop level.
Access to the rooftop is on the 3rd floor via stairs or lift.
There are multiple levels in the venue; wheelchair accessible using a lift and ramps.
An accessible toilet is located on the lower lever of the rooftop event space.
There will be event lighting in operation, with the potential use of strobe effects.
